Where Eeyan is not the right answer

Worth being straight about this, so you don’t waste an evening finding out:

You need true frame-by-frame stepping. Eeyan steps in half-second jumps and slows down to 0.2×. That’s enough for most technique work, but it isn’t a single-frame scrubber.
You want a phone app. Eeyan is built for a computer — Chrome or Edge on Windows or Mac. It isn’t a mobile app, and some of the file handling it relies on doesn’t exist on phones.
You want a cloud library your whole team logs into. Clips stay on your machine. There’s a searchable, tagged library, but it’s local to your computer — not a shared team account.

If those three are what you’re after, one of the other Coach’s Eye alternatives will suit you better. Eeyan is deliberately the simple end of the range.

Where do my videos go?

Nowhere. They are read from your own drive and processed in the browser. The exported file is saved to a folder you choose.

What do I need to use Eeyan?

A recent version of Chrome or Edge on Windows or Mac. Chrome is recommended — audio can drop out during slow-motion playback in Safari.

Which sports is it for?

Any sport where you look at footage and explain what happened. It is used for ice hockey, and nothing in Eeyan is specific to one sport.
